Last Monday we(Geoff, Brigitte and I) drove past Pemberton and up the Duffy lake Road. We choose the Cayoosh as our skiing location for the day.

It was a chilly overcast day, but the snow looked good.  We took a minute to sort out our gear then strapped our skins on the skis and started walking.

It wasn't long before we were at the top so we stopped for a few refreshments.  Now the fun would really begin, shredding some pow.

We hit the bottom and geared back up for another lap. After the second lap we realized how late it was and decided to ski out. With our energy levels dropping and a couple hills to climb, the ski out ended up being the roughest part.  Although we were slowing down a bit, it did give us time to plan our next adventure, a night ski in the back country.
