We’ll do our best to help out as soon as we can (but all bets are off on a powder day, obviously).
My favorite piece of gear is definitly my Igneous fish – Igneous is a Jackson Hole based company that makes custom skis and snowboards, they will pretty much build you anything you can dream up.. so I came up with what I hoped to be my ideal powder board. Short with a deep sidecut for agility, fat and heavily tapered with a cutout tail for float, and flat for speed. It's a dream in powder – floats better than anything i've ridden and turns on a dime, a very surfy board.
For the interested, specs on the board: 159cm, 7.5m sidecut and a 22mm taper, minimal camber of 2mm (mostly for skinning purposes), with a wide (322) and blunt early rise nose & flat fish tail. The camber/rocker transition point starts under the front binding. Progressive flex, stiff board with a soft nose.
