In my modified ski workshop there is a ski. As I neared the end of this particular patch job – the result of an early season encounter with some unexpected ground cover – I couldn't help noticing the gritty nature of the improvised work bench in my basement. The perfect picture of a cheap student skier, avoiding at all costs the price of a proper ski tune. As long as the base is mostly flat it should work fine for what I need. Some would call it character, and I'm one of them. If the P-Tex falls out, I'll just put more in the hole. Kinda like an old junker car, these skis will keep going for as long as I need them to… or until I get a new pair.
