Have you seen the latest competition to come out of the Powder Magazine's offices? Their editorial crew has ranked 32 of the best ski towns in North America and now it's the ski public's turn to vote. So far the towns with the best slack country are doing well. Check it out here at the Powder magazine web site's Ski Town Throw Down page. 


But what about the areas with the best backcountry skiing? Where do you think the number one spot is? Let us know your thoughts.

That's a new one, Rossland and Nelson have merged into a single ski town! How does that make you feel?

Or maybe POWDER didn't do their research properly?

Backcountry or frontcountry, Revelstoke gets my vote.
