I'm hoping to head to the Nelson area Feb 1 to ski bum for a month or two. I'm from Calgary, Canada. The only thing holding me back is a lack of backcountry buddies in the area. I ride AT gear and have a 4×4 truck. I often ski conservatively but am up for the odd hardcore/exposed days if conditions are bomber. I've been backcountry skiing 4-5 seasons and have avi 1 training. Hoping to ski full time so I'd like to find some people who can ski weekdays too. If you're up for shredding some pow please contact me! Cheers,
i am in neslon for the next 10 days and i have my skitouring equipment with me i am quite experianced skitouring in the alps (i am from germany) nelson is new to me
I got delayed and am just leaving for Nelson tomorrow. Would you be up for a day of backcountry on Thurs? I spoke with another skier named Eddie that sounded keen to get out. I just texted him about Thurs so he might be up for going too. I'd be up for other adventures later on instead if that doesn't work. Hopefully see ya on a snowy mountain side! Cheers,
Will you still be looking for partners the first two weeks of April? I'm a British backcountry skier coming out to visit friends. I've done loads of touring in the alps and north america and would be keen for steep day tours or some multi day stuff. let me know what you think…
