The terrain is some of the best ski touring terrain available. The lodge is located just around tree line with 1000'of alpine skiing above the lodge and 1000'of tree skiing below. The terrain is compact with many different bowls offering different aspects, elevations and terrain features for all conditions. Long round trip traverses can be completed, peaks can be ascended, most peaks have great ski descents from the summit, multi-bowl ski descents in one day offer lots of variety and of course close yo-yo skiing on those big storm days.
We look forward to providing you and your group a fantastic backcountry ski holiday this winter. Reservations can be made by cheque or online through our website at Ymir Backcountry Ski Lodge.
