Hickshow Style
Deep powder, steep mountains, and stunning views are just a handful of the things that lure us to the backcountry. For the team at Hickshow Productions, stunning views are the backdrop and mountains are the stage for capturing some of the best backcountry snowmobiling in the industry. With roots in the Koots, and the combined histories of snowboard films and big mountain sledding, the Hicks brothers are bringing their backcountry playground to our screens.Their newest film, Followcam 7, marks almost a decade of capturing the essence of backcountry sledding, and showcases what they say was their best season yet. Riders from across North America came to British Columbia to experience the extreme terrain found here, and these guys throw down big. Big drops and tight chutes are common place in this film, and they make it all look easy.

Whether you love ‘em or hate ‘em, snowmobiles are just another way of getting out into the backcountry. Without these machines many of these lines would remain unridden, and much of what’s out there left unexplored. Hickshow Productions are out there doing what they love, and not only witnessing, but sharing the goods with the rest of us.
