Arva's Latest Reactor Airbags - VIDEO

Arva’s Reactor line of airbags is said to be the lightest and most compact dual airbag system on the market. It consists of nine airbags in total varying in sizes ranging from the smallest Reactor 15 Ultra Light to the Reactor 18, Reactor 24, Reactor 25 Ultra Light, Reactor 32 and Reactor 40. Each of the number following the name reflects the actual volume of the pack which remains without including the airbag components. In addition to these six airbags Arva also has a Flex series of airbags which uses their interchangeable Flex Technology. This allows you to change the carrying capacity of these Arva Reactor Avalanche Airbag in a matter of seconds. The Flex Frame consists of the pack back panel, shoulder straps, hip belt and Arva Reactor Avalanche Airbag system. The Flex Frame is the basis for the Flex system and is paired with an Arva Flex Cover depending upon how much volume in the pack you desire. The options are the Reactor Flex 24 Pro, Reactor Flex 32 Pro and Reactor Flex 35 Blast which is designed for avalanche professions who use explosives.

If you are looking to go as light as possible then Arva’s two Lightweight Airbag options are the Reactor 15 Ultra Light and Reactor 25 Ultra Light which provide all the features you want but weigh in at an impressive 1.56kg and 1.72kg respectively.

Arva also has a Reactor 15 Vest for those that want to go into the backcountry more minimally with just the basic avalanche tools and without the bulk of a full backpack. It has a capacity of 15L spread over 3 compartments and 6 front pockets and of course uses the Arva Reactor airbag system.

All of the Reactor airbag packs use Arva’s 3D-Fit technology which allows you to customize the pack’s fit to your specific needs. The shoulder strap length, torso length and trigger handle position are all adjustable to fit your preferences and body size/shape.
