The SuperSub Hammock is made from super-strong and breathable 30D Ripstop Nylon and has an impressive weight capacity of 136kg / 300lbs yet packs down to a minimal size of just 12.7 x 17.8cm / 5 x 7”. Eno didn’t skimp on size to shave off weight, however, since the SuperSub Hammock is an ample 2.8 x 1.9m / 9’ x 6’ 6” in size. Instead, they used smaller and lighter nylon and aluminum toggles and lightweight fabric.
Combining the SuperSub Hammock with Eno’s new Helios Suspension System is a natural choice as this creates the ultimate lightweight backcountry hammock camping dynamic-duo. The Helios uses super-strong Silverlite line with a polyester blend tree sling to minimize the weight to an impressive 122g / 4.3oz. Set up is easy, girth hitch the tree sling around a willing tree and then adjust the length with the innovative ‘prussic-like’ tensioning system that relies on its own friction to keep it secure. With over 8 feet of length, the Helios Suspension System gives you plenty of options for setting up the Eno SuperSub Hammock.
