$4500 worth of prizes to be won - 10th Annual Kootenay Coldsmoke Powder Festival
This years Kootenay Coldsmoke Powder Festival is the 10th annual and runs Feb 19th – 21st. It offers up plenty of backcountry competitions, clinics, social events and of course the industry village where you can find plenty of demos to try out. This is also where you can find the Backcountry Skiing Canada team manning our tent with plenty of give aways and prizes to be won.
The list of competitions include The ROAM Randonee, The Village Ski Hut Slopestyle, The Poker Run, The North Face Backcountry Olympics and of course The King & Queen Comp.
The Events include the Coldsmoke Opener Film Fest on Friday Feb 19th at The Civic Theatre, cost $20. The Mountain Mingler on Saturday Feb 20th at The Hume Hotel's Spirit Bar, cost is $35-$65. The After Party featuring Elliott Brood, Saturday Feb 20th, The Hume Hotel's Spirit Bar, cost $30.
