t might be hard to imagine with the upcoming weather forecast but the first signs of winter are already showing up. Australians are looking for winter accommodation for them and 3 mates on the local buy and sell pages, ski resorts have begun pestering about early bird season passes and ski movie trailers are starting to be released. 

First up Matchstick Productions. A welcome name for as long as I can remember, delivering quality ski films consistently and this year they are changing up the formula. In 2018 equality is at the forefront of discussion and Matchstick is leading the charge with a balanced male and female roster. No more token female appearance. Hopefully, this is a sign of the future because women really need role models out in front of the lens and there are plenty of women pushing the sport. It's about time then were showcased fairly. Watch the trailer below and remember that these are the first signs of winter despite to threat of bursting into flames simply by walking out the door.
