Opening Day at Whitewater Ski Resort
Today is the day many of us here at backcountryskiingcanada.com have been waiting for! Whitewater Winter Resort will start spinning their chair lifts for the 2016/17 season. Although we are considered a small resort with only three, fixed gripped chair lifts, and one handle tow, there are over 1180 acres of lift accessible terrain and a total of 2367 skiable acres! Not to mention the 40 feet of snow that falls annually!
