        Video: Clamshell Whiteout

        The Clamshell is one of Golden BC's most iconic ski lines. You can see it from just about anywhere around town and it just looks like the ultimate ski run. Local ski coach/hard charger Ryan and I went up to its base a few days ago to have a look at another line nearby, but ended up in a whiteout on the Clamshell - our plan b. We tried to wait it out for a while, but when it started to puke snow we gave up and practiced our zero-vis skiing (an important skill) instead.
