September Silliness
On September 23rd, Ian and I decided it was time for a little bit of skiing, sandwiched in between two rather long hikes. We found what we were looking for on an undisclosed pocket glacier near Golden. About 17km of hiking with skis on packs, mostly off-trail, a quick skin and 200m of September pow. Booyah! Pictures below:Looking up at the upper part of the glacier, with Ian just visible at the top.
Ian rips the flatter second half of the run. Well placed rocks are vital when descending with a heavy pack.
