        visiting bc,looking for help

        Hi all ya people,

        my name is Szymon and I'm 32yrs old skier from Tatra Mountains,Poland.

        Because this winter season at my home spot sucks I decided to visit bc for some touring and skiing. I just bought a ticket to Calgary arriving on 29th March.

        I'm looking for a advice where to go and which places are nice to visit.

        I have a month for this trip,hope to catch with nice locals, ski some spring snow and show people from cancer community I do work with that even after serious health problems you can live large.

        I'm also collecting footage for http://www.vice.com about climate changes and their impact on skiers playground.

        Looking for people related to skiing to share their stories about climate changes.

        Honestly, I'd rent a car and drive from Calgary to Whistler along the Trans Canada highway and hit all the major resorts and touring spots on the way. 


        For resorts:

        Sunshine

        Lake Lousie

        Kicking Horse

        Revelstoke

        Silver Star

        Sun Peaks

        Big White

        Whistler (probably a lot more that I'm forgeting, don't know as much past Revy)


        For major backcountry areas near Calgary (hire a guide):

        Kananaskis

        Icefields Parkway

        Rogers Pass


        Just my thoughts.

        Hi, I write master's thesis about ski instructors and their problem with low back pain.
