Mount Carlyle Lodge in the Summer. Why not?

Our friends from Mount Carlyle Lodge are offering a summer program. It seems like, over the years, many lodges have tried to attract guests in the off-season with only marginal success. We are huge Carlyle fans (check out or TRarticle for a winter trip, here) and think what they are serving up looks pretty cool.

A couple different packages are on offer but the one that sounds most appealing features pre-stocked caches along your hike route. All you have to carry is a day pack. This is super duper lovely country that'll wow you in any season. Get the full details on the Sourdough program and other options, here, on the Carlyle site. If you're lucky, you may even get to meet "Bomber," a bona fide Kootenay celebrity.
