        Avalanche Conditions Report 4 - VIDEO

        In conjunction with Whitewater Ski Resort we present the latest Avalanche Conditions Report. Things to be aware of are that there is a new storm slab which is 10-20cm thick and it is sitting on small surface hoar layer which was buried on Dec 30th and below this is another surface hoar layer buried on Dec 25. There is a big storm coming through this weekend that will make this storm slab even more reactive, so be cautious out there.

        We are also still concerned with the Dec 8 crust and Dec 13 surface hoar which are now down 70-100cm. With this new load coming in this weekend there is potential for avalanches to step down to this Dec 8/13 layer.
