Press Pause. Let's Plan. Response to Zincton Development

Perhaps in response to the Zincton Development's go ahead to the next step in the proposal process, the folks behind the Wild connection have teamed up with the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative and started a petition.

The idea is that any commercial development between Kaslo and New Denver (and many places elsewhere) should be halted until a proper land use plan has been developed.

If you are keen to see public lands kept for the public, rather than commercialized and developed, consider signing the petition appearing here. They are already beyond 1,000 signatures. There's more information on the site too.
