Roper's Sierra High Route

Are you already thinking of next winter? Do you need an idea for a south of the border, multi day, 200 mile (321km), ski trip? How about Roper's High Sierra Route in California, a south to north route put in by Steve Roper which parallels the John Muir Trail along the Sierra Crest?

Very few people traverse this route in summer, even fewer try it in winter but in April of this year Sachin Sawant, Matt Fox, and Aaron Johnson skied the entire route. Here's a video summary of their journey:
