The Skier's Haute Route _ Salamon Freeski TV
Oldy but a goody. Mike Douglas, Alexi Godbout and their camera crew hit the Urner Alps in Switzerland. The Haute Route (between Chamonix and Zermatt) is the classic traverse that seems to be on everybody's bucket list. Apparently, it's not the best in terms of potential ski descents and crowds (like, not enough of one and too much of the other). Other traverses are gaining in popularity with ski tourers—like the Urner. This looks like about as much fun as one could possibly have ski touring. Doesn't it?
