As a more serious follow-up to our March 14 post (which featured 3 Nelson locals, BTW) you should check out the two thorough and informative write-ups of the Bow Yoho Traverse and the Wapta Traverse—two Canadian classics. 

Each trip report features a wealth of information including videos, maps (even FATMAPS), in-depth descriptions of the huts and a play-by-play of each day along the way. If you are keen to check out something in the Kootenays, check out the Bonnington Traverse.
