AVALANCHE INCIDENTS RAMPANT

It's been gnarly out there recently. BC has had two avalanche deaths in the last four days, one being an experienced ski patroller. Today there were another two search and Rescue deployments near Bralorne and Pemberton for people injured in avalanches.

Avalanche danger is HIGH in Alpine and Treeline. Don't go out for some mellow turns and certainly don't go out if you plan to accomplish something. Respect the men and women of SAR that have to put themselves at risk in order to get you out of trouble!
