Some people love to ski the extreme.  If its not at least 45 degrees and fatally exposed then why bother getting out of bed?!

For other people the simple pleasures of mellow pow is easily enough to draw them into the backcountry.  Sure it might not get the heart pounding and the adrenaline pumping, but the relaxing joys of a day skipping over gentle glades in soft snow should never be over looked.  It doesn't need to be sunny, the snow doesn't need to be chest deep, all you need a good friend, a little fresh pow and a bag of two bite brownies, and before you know it you'll be having the time of your life.
