COMP-VIDEO January 2012 \"I'm skiing POW\"
January update in the coast range of BC, Canada.
Well, after the Drycember we had things got a lot better. We had a lot of snow, better stability and this lead to a lot of POWDAFACE.! We didn’t have a lot of super bluebird days making it harder to fly, and due longer trips in the high alpine areas, but great top to bottom tree skiing, and we skied a lot of steep couloirs, using the rock walls to see. The biggest difference this season has been the wind. A lot of wind with the storms and the southern faces have been scoured and almost left some lines unskiable. Just got my skis out of shop from a major edge, base epoxy repair. Hahah All in all it was a good month and looking forward to February and some more great riding here in the Coast range of BC. Here are the some video highlights and a song to bring a smile to your face and remember that day when you “WERE skiing POW!”
