Faction La Machine 3 Mega Ski REVIEW

Last April we reviewed Faction’s La Machine Skis and were thoroughly impressed with these super fat, yet super-light skis. While the original La Machine Skis were built for deep, deep powder days they were a little too much ski to be used as a daily driver, thankfully Faction has remedied this with a suite of new La Machine Skis for the 2022/23 season. For those that want to go light and fast there is the La Machine 1 Micro Skis which are the lightest in the collection, the La Machine 2 Mini, and the middle of the pack is the La Machine 3 Mega which we’ll focus on in this review and is wider and heavier than the previous two options but more ideal for deeper days. The final ski in the La Machine family is the 5 Max which more closely resembles the original La Machine Skis since it is 148/126/139mm and has a weight of 3,900g—a truly deep powder slayer.
