A new kind of Tech binding needs your help
The "Pinding" as it's being dubbed by manufacturer Bavarian Alpine Manifest or BAM for short unites the advantages of the PinTech touring binding system and conventional alpine safety bindings. The Pindings unique design lets you skin up with a tech binding and ski down with a more traditional alpine style binding and all safety advantages that they provide.
The two main advantages are:
- safety and performance when skiing
- Low weight & high walking comfort during the ascent
The advantages of this new design can further be broken down into their ski and walk components:
Walk (ascent)
- Two-stage riser
- Full functionality with classic alpine boots with the help of an adapter for ascending
- Easy and user-friendly operation
- Pin system useable alternatively blocked or with release function
- No additional weight that has to be lifted on your foot
- Ideal pivot pointLightweight (our goal: 800 – 900 g)
Ski (downhill)
- Downhill performance of an alpine binding
- Perfect power transmission
- low platform height (15 mm)
- Full safety binding (with a target DIN range of 6 to 14)
