Very comprehensive review, thanks! Two other pack design items I would have liked to have seen covered though are: 1) secure & convenient water bottle placement and/or holders/pockets for same, and; 2) storage room & compatibility/convenience for carrying a helmet. Any updates you can provide on those two items would be useful.

There is a water bladder mesh holder against the front of the pack and a place to feed the tube through to the shoulder strap. I did not go with this option as I find that they freeze up in winter. I prefer the collapsable Vapur water bags for this reason.

On question number two, there is no helmet carry option built into the pack although you could use the ski carry in some manner to achieve the same result. I am not a helmet wearer so this is not an issue for me, I have experienced a false sense of security while wearing helmets so I do the ole fashioned toque method.

I am hoping that we can review one of their summer packs this spring as I was really impressed with this pack as you can read from teh review.
