Finding just the right pack for your ski touring style is an important undertaking. Sure, you can use your summer pack for winter ski touring but it's not the best case scenario. After all, there are certain features that make life just that much better when you are in the snow—more on this later. There is also the question of size: a 15-20 litre slackcountry, 30-40 litre backcountry or a larger multi-day pack for hut trips and traverses.
