Why Not To Buy Plum Bindings
I just wrote a review about my experience with Plum bindings and why I will never, ever, recommend them. I've had two toe piece pins snap in as many years. In the latest case I was left stranded in the backcountry. (Thankfully I was picked up by a sledder who drove me that last 2 km to the hut we were staying at.) If you're thinking about purchasing Plum bindings, please seriously reconsider another manufacturer such as Dynafit or G3. Luckily I wasn't seriously hurt in either case of the equipment failure but I wouldn't want to hear of someone careening down the face of some steep peak because their toe pin broke. The original review can be found here.
