If Ed Can Do It, So Can You
Long time Jackson Hole resident, videographer, and news writer Ed Bushnell, has skied every month for the last 20 years. This past October became his 240th month in a row of self-propelled turns, hiking up to the slopes of Grand Targhee - a year-round resort base camp located between Teton and Yellowstone national parks.
Aiming to usually ski around 1000 feet - and to earn his turns doing so - Ed has hunted down snow in every season, and even skied with a fractured leg to keep his streak going. He has also seen firsthand over the years the effects of climate change to nearby glacier ski spots, which these days are virtually unskiable in the off-season.
A pretty passionate and motivating fella. Next time I’m hit with a bout of laziness I’ll try to think of him.
