A Historic Adventure -- Snowqualamie to Canada

Remember that great article in the New York Times 5 or so years ago? It was a really well-put-together multimedia piece on the Tunnel Creek avalanche incident. It showed  how to use video, good photos, mapping and good writing to tell a heck of a story. 

I spotted an article in the Seattle Times and it made me think of the earlier online article in the NYT. Other than an example of the bizarre tendency our American friends have of referring to  Canadian place names in very general terms (Snowqualamie to Canada/we went to Canada; rather than BC, etc), it's a great story that uses the web format very creatively. The two mountaineers who completed this remarkable traverse (or almost completed it) look like they had some fun doing it too.
