Drones to the rescue

Is there no end to the innovative uses of drones?!  Aside from getting all those super cool perspectives in the latest shred flics and the promises of "drone delivery" in the near future, it seems this handy little machines can also help save your life.

After two individuals became lost while hiking in the Pike National Forest in Colorado, the Douglas County Search and Rescue team employed a drone to scan the area. Using cell phone pings and camera mounted on the drone, they were able to locate the hikers within a few hours on the scene.
