Thinking About Winter? Want To?

Every summer since becoming a "seasoned backcountry skier" I tell myself the same thing. I am going to enjoy summer, climb a bunch and not ski until December when the skiing is good again. Every summer around August my mind starts to drift back to a skin track, sweat on my brow and cool air in my lungs. I guess I'll always be a skier and never truly a climber, whatever.  August is also the time of year when all the big production companies begin dropping their upcoming seasons' movie trailers. If you weren't thinking about skiing yet, you just might be after watching the trailer for WINTERLAND by TGR. Stay strong the September pow keeners will be at it in less than a month.
