Kungsleden FKT
FKT. Fastest Kown Time is a record time of any given achievement. It's becoming more popular and with ranking apps like Strava, it's easy to see why. You can compete with an entire community and never have met a single one of your competitors. It's a little less braggy than posting your time on online forums for example but still, a little braggy or motivating for others. Incredible FKT attempts have been made is all sorts of activities. Climbing, skiing and trail running. At first, I thought, who cares but FKTs especially the multiday objectives means being efficient and efficiency is king in getting stuff done. Watch below as Emelie Forsberg nabs the FKT on the Kungsleden. In 2018, Emelie Forsberg went back to her homeland to attempt a Fastest Known Time (FKT) in the Kungsleden Trail, a hiking trail in the Swedish Lapland that boasts spectacular wilderness and is usually crossed by hikers in no less than 15 days. She completed the 450km trail in 4 days and 21 hours, beating the current FKT, held since 2017.
