Treeline Film
On deep powder days how many times have you stopped mid run, in the forest, to take in your surroundings? Probably never right? Or at least rarely. What about going up on the skin track? It’s a lot easier to pause and look around and soak up the forest but a lot of times we’re so focused on getting up to our objective we don’t notice what’s around us.Patagonia has just released their short film online called Treeline. It’s a meditative piece that follows skiers, boarders, and scientists through the birch forests of Japan, the red cedars of British Columbia, and the bristlecones of Nevada. For tree skiers this is a definite must watch and next time you ski through the forest who knows you may stop to pause to ponder the beauty of the woods.
