Kayaks and skis: BC to Alaska
On April 1st, 2017, three individuals began an adventure that would take them from the seas of northwestern British Columbia and the Alaskan Panhandle up into the mountains which look down upon the very waters in which they would use to navigate 800km from BC to Alaska. Leaving Prince Rupert, British Columbia, in kayaks and heading north to Skagway, Alaska, they planned to spend 60 days paddling and hiking to remote ski locations up the coast in an attempt to "chase winter".The crew has now returned from their adventure, but you can read all about it, and check out more pictures on their website.
