        Video: Mountain of Hell 2018

        I have always loved to watch videos of mass start mountain bike races, the Mountain of Hell being no exception. There’s something about the utter chaos of hundreds of riders hurtling down snow slopes then onto dirt roads and single track. There’s usually carnage especially on the snowy sections at the start and the first corner of the 2018 race saw mass pile ups along the banked wall.

        It would be fun to see mass start ski races; imagine a Peak to Creek descent in Whistler with a couple hundred skiers barrelling down West Bowl onto Highway 86 and finishing off on the Dave Murray Downhill.
