Petzl's Technical Resource Archive

I have always been a progression focused person. I always want to do to a little better ever time, whether it's a bigger line, more technical climbing, new terrain, a bigger drop, more vert, being more efficient or whatever, it needs somehow be an improvement from the last time. In my old age, I tend to lean towards being more competent every time rather than just more or harder. In the quest for competency, there is learning and there's the experience.

PETZL TECH TIP ARCHIVE 


One of my favourite online resources for tips on travelling in the mountains and technical systems is the Petzl website. While some of the topics focus on using the manufactures product mostly it's a quick and easier way to learn new techniques. The website is laid out is the same style as the product instruction when you purchase climbing equipment. Easy illustrations and a few words, great for short attention spans.  Be sure to check it out on your lunch break or next rainy day. When the weather improves go out and the experience with hands-on practice.
