A Walk In The Park
As I slowly grow into a more well-rounded mountain ... athlete( ? ) I start to plan more and more adventurous human propelled adventures. It's all about going a little further, a little faster or a little higher. It's a personal pursuit to find your ceiling and every time you reach up to touch it, it gets a little further and you keep pushing. I think this is the future of mountain sports. Not increasing the convenience of access. Want to go somewhere but there's no road, trail or guidebook description? So, just go. A perfect example of this is the short film " A walk in the park "Kelly Halpin attempts the Teton triathlon with is a 23-mile bike ride, 1.3mile swim, 3-mile hike and then a 6000-foot scramble. Oh and back the way you came. Watch Kelly and her day out on what is known as a Picnic. Sounds fun...?
