Scarpa signs on Bode Miller as Ambassador
The fine folks at Scarpa have just announced that Bode Miller will be joining them as an ambassador. Bode, the most successful male American alpine ski racer of all time (who has always been popular in the media) signs on just prior to the company announcing their new, alpine-focused boot line, the Quattro, at the upcoming Outdoor Retailer show. This, from Scarpa prez Sandro Parisotto: "As we prepare to launch our 4-Quattro boot, our first collection of ski boots that are more focused on the alpine-ski world, we wanted to make sure that we built a boot performance-oriented, light and technical enough for the best skiers in the world. As we broaden the lens of who SCARPA ski boots are made for, we’re excited for this partnership between the market’s leading ski mountaineering brand and a skier proven as one of the best in the world."
It's a great fit and we look forward to seeing the results of the collaboration. There's also talk that Scarpa will be launching boots featuring Grip Walk soles. Hopefully, these will
make it into their robust AT boot line-up. Punch "Scarpa" into the search bar at the top left of the page to see all the reviews we've done of Scarpa boots over the years (hint: there are many).
