The Highway

The "Highway" is a skier's perspective of a highway drive from Vancouver to Whistler through the eyes of a skier. The view of the Tantalus are striking and while he has skied the range many times in his mind he's never actually been. Stan Rey is known for his gnarly double backflips in natural terrain but that might all you know about this Whistler based freeskier. Like any other person, there's always more to the athletes behind the highlight reel of a movie. Rey share's a big part of his life with the Salomon Freeski audience.  His sister was in a car accident which left her in a wheelchair. The event reminds Rey that life can change in an instant and that if you have dreams you should chase them now because you never know when the day might come when chasing that dream might become impossible.
