Zincton; Province seeks feedback on all-season resort near New Denver

 Zincton is not a place many will have heard of. It's a small ghost town just outside New Denver, but that may not be the case for much longer. Brent Harley and Associates Inc., a mountain resort development company based in Whistler, have their eyes on the area and are proposing a lift-accessed backcountry resort. 



 Full details can be found in the Expression of Interest, but the idea is to provide lift access to a backcountry experience aimed at skiers, boarders, and bikers. The goal is to create an experience different from anything you would find at a typical mountain resort. A staging area would be a pedestrian-focused village built on private land adjacent to the backcountry resort. 

 Are you stoked?! Or maybe you're choked... either way, the Province wants to hear about it and now is your chance to speak up. The project is open for feedback until June 22, so if you've got something to say it's best not to procrastinate.
