Candide's one of your days contest winner.

One of your days is a contest thought up by the one and only Candide Thovex. The guidelines were to ski as hard , fast and creatively as possible, as he did in his “ one of those days” web series. Lake Louise shralpinist Carter Mcmillan took home top prize for his efforts edging out over 500 applicants. I'm not exactly sure how Lake Louise feels about Carters use of the mountain but we can all agree that it's an impressive display of skiing.

All of it was shot in bounds at the Lake Louise ski area so why is it on a backcountry skiing forum? I thought it would be a good demo of just how impressive tech bindings have become. The whole segment was shot on the Marker King pin and if you had any more doubts, it's been said that he also won the 4 Star Freeride World Tour qualifier event at Kicking Horse earlier this year, same set up. So if you have been skiing around cliffs and pillows all season, no more excuses hey?
