Comp-Sparwood Ridge

Well I just had to get out for a day. The snow conditions were not deep and avy was considerable and I would say at the higher end of considerable. I pretty much stuck to the tight trees on the way up. My only expectations for the day were to maybe snap a picture or two and get the heart rate up. Turns out my day was actually super fun. 3 hrs from unloading to loading back up. I still had most of the day to relax. The first picture is on the way up and the second one is looking down the valley towards Fernie, pretty much directly at Island Lake.
