COMP - Splitboarding is the answer
Photos on the way up and video on the way down is how most of my BC days go. Whichever format it is it can be very difficult to overcome the voice in your head that says "screw it lets just make some turns" but having the gopro around makes things fairly easy not having to worry about getting it wet or damaged. Here are a couple more days I spent hiking around Mt. Robson, the "Ancient Forest" east of Prince George and back down in Rogers pass and Revelstoke. I got to ride the fingers after years of staring at it from the town of Revy and it didnt dissapoint with the cold weather that had been in the area keeping the snow cold and blower we got some awesome turns. From that side of the valley it also gave you a great veiw of RMR which actually looked fairly small compared to the feeling you get when you are on the resort. The next day I turned into a short one as we had a long drive ahead of us after the riding and the beers from the night before had caught of with some of us (Matt) but there was no way I was letting a sunny day in the pass go by without getting ateast a few turns in. A quick climb up NRC gully as far as I could push my hungover buddy still gave us some great sunny turns. He thanked me for forcing him to make the climb and we called it a day. Another great couple days in the mountains!
