Goose Creek Tower, Alaska
If there is one backcountry cabin I could spend a lifetime at it may be this Goose Creek Tower. Also known as the Dr. Seuss house. It stands at 185 feet high and is complete with electrical and plumbing with an observatory at its peak, but is currently unfinished and closed to the public. Phillip Weidner, the architect and builder hopes that it "inspires people to do worth while things, not just in building, but whatever they do with their lives".
