Go It Alone

Adventuring solo. It's not the first thing most people think about when planning an adventure or when thinking about their next big objective. While going without partners means going without the comfort of having the support that comes in numbers there are many advantages and solo travel has a certain allure. Finding the right partner or lining up schedules can be one if not the most daunting tasks of trip planning and has ended many trips before they have even begun regardless of their complexity. So why not go it alone? You might find the adventure enriched without social interruptions and truly feel like you are escaping it all.   That's exactly what Chris Rubens did. Chris stayed in the Himalayas after a Salomon expedition and spent some time exploring Rolwaling Valley on a solo adventure.
