        Kyle Dempster and Scott Adamson RIP

        I remember seeing the video below a couple years ago and thinking what a cool and crazy dude the "star" was. Great sense of humour, incredible lust for adventure and the kind of tenacity needed to get things done. Just today, I put two and two together and realized that the guy in the movie–The Road from Karakol- was Kyle Dempster. Kyle, along with Scott Adamson, were lost on the Ogre II peak in Pakistan. The search for them was officially called off on September 3. Though the little vid is about one of Kyle's adventures, you know that Scott must have been similar in spirit and capabilities. Sad and inspiring stuff.
