New web site coming!

They say “you shouldn’t fix it if it ain’t broke” but we felt that after it was time for a change. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes designing and building a vastly improved Backcountry Skiing Canada web site. The new web site will be chock full of improvements and features such as commenting, improved forums, dynamic links, compact reviews, main page feature stories and more. While the new site will not be a huge departure when it comes to design and navigation it will be more user friendly and mobile—yes you’ll now be able to happily cruise the site on your phone or tablet.

Below is a sneak peek at the new design and layout, stay tuned for the real deal in just a few days.

While the IT geeks get the new site live over the next few days we won’t be posting content to the blog/forum but not to worry we’ll have fresh content for you in just a couple days.

We’re excited that winter is on its way and what better way to kick off the season than with a new and improved web site. Ok, new skis would kick ass but that’s out of our control.
