Here's a nice little vid with a message we should all be aware of this time of the year. These two guys hiked the PCT and picked up a whack of garbage along the way. The number one item picked up? Toilet paper -- with cigarette butts runninng a close second. Yuck.

As they say, for this trip, they are "smoothing it" more than roughing it and giving out more high fives than pointing fingers. It's probably a good approach and hopefully makes a dent in people's tendency to leave behind stuff rather than packing it out. It's disturbingly common to see trash left at even the most remote campgrounds--certainly not all, but some. Thanks to Paul Twedt and Seth Orme for sharing the message. 'love the beards!
