The big push. Killian
While we continue to wait for a never arriving spring one has to wonder if the ski mountaineering season will ever arrive. Most folks will likely trade in there face shots for single track with zero transition period while we ski mountaineering types just continue to wait and are forced to ski pow rather than corn. Yes, I realize this is opposite of a problem but I can't help but wish the pow away so we can ski more big lines and big linkups. Single day push of common multi traverses are becoming more popular and it's easy to see why. Less time commitment, better gear and it is a true test of one's fitness without the monotony of say, road running for example. I have personally been tackling bigger single day objectives and I always cruise forums or social media for that lastest speed record or cool link up for motivation or inspiration for my next personal challenge. My favourite all time suffer machine to watch is Killian Jornet. Watch as he skis 77km and over 9000m in a single day.So what's your next personal challenge?
